7 Additional Services To Offer To Your Customers
These phone consultations last about 15 minutes. Clients fill out a form to provide details regarding their legal question(s) or problem(s) they need assistance with. The lawyer then has 2 business hours to call the client.
Our platform generates a formal Demand Letter that clients can send themselves. However, some of them like to get their letters reviewed by a lawyer. That is where you come in handy.
The litigant answers a questionnaire in order to build their case with Legalhood technology. You are then called to act, according to the choice of the litigant, by:
- Revising the request
- Discussing with the litigant to answer their questions
- Preparing the litigant for their day in court

The decision is then rendered in summary form 5 days after the hearing. You can represent your client in court online or your client can represent themselves.
How to get started
- If you are not already, you must first be a member of CBA-Quebec. Become a member of ABC-Quebec.
- Then, complete the “Legalhood avec ABC-Québec” program registration form.
Legalhood will confirm your registration within 10 days. - You will receive access to the materials needed to add the chosen online services to your website, including a visual asset and a link to insert.
- Process the mandates entrusted to you within the allotted time.

The Legalhood mandate comes from a request from an online client who wishes to have a document revised or who requests another legal service such as mediation.
The mandate is limited in scope. The parties have been properly notified and have duly accepted that the lawyer only offers information in relation to what was provided to them online. The client has been notified and has agreed that this is not a full legal opinion they will receive with this process. They also agree that Legalhood will transfer the information on the case to the lawyer.
Providing legal services with Legalhood is easy. You will have all the instructions on your dashboard. In addition, you will receive email notifications when a mandate is generated. At that point you follow the instructions and you are on your way.
Providing service with Legalhood is much faster than in person. This allows you to offer services to new customers, online, at competitive prices.
Legalhood takes care of the billing. You will be copied to the latter. Legalhood will also provide you with access to a platform to track the amounts generated by your new online services.
Yes you can. Whether it is for reasons of conflict of interest or because your schedule does not allow it. In fact, you have 24 hours to accept a an order. If you do not accept the mandate within this period, it will be forwarded to another lawyer who is a member of the program.
Please note that if you choose to receive calls from the “Talk to a Lawyer” product, you will have 1 hour to accept the mandate, otherwise it will be sent to another lawyer.
Yes you can. However, you must give Legalhood 10 business days notice to change their participant lists. During this time, it is your responsibility to complete the required mandates or to notify Legalhood when you refuse them.
As you can see, there are 2 types of income:
- When the customer comes directly from Legalhood: you receive the rate that was charged to the customer from which 15% is subtracted, for technological management and billing management.
- When the client is from your own website: you receive 100% of the rate charged to the client for the legal department.
